Oaxaca is home to various cultures, our Alebrije masterpieces are apart of the Zapotec culture and incorporate many beliefs and history into the pieces.

Alebrijes are creatures born from both dreams and nightmares, hand carved and hand painted with eco-friendly materials, and hand decorated by artisans from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Every single one of our pieces are handmade from the finest materials available. All of our Alebrijes are wooden carvings painted with renewable sources of ink

The best Mexican art and Alebrijes selection

We work with only the best indigenous professional artisans from Oaxaca. Each piece is Meticulously decorated by hand without the assistance of Electric tools, making every single step of the way all natural. All of our Alebrijes come from only two towns in Oaxaca, San Martin Tilcajete and San Antonio Arrazola. Each town is responsible for cutting and growing Copal trees as well as Making the paints that are used to decorate each piece.

Barro Negro is made in San Bartolo Coyotepec and features intricate and beautiful pottery work. The pieces go through a week long process where they are cooked and purified to ensure the piece is not only structurally sound but also to ensure that the piece gets completely purified leaving only Pure Black Clay.
